DevOps engineer in InfraJump

We plan use years of experience working with US and EU clients to launch a new company focused on providing DevOps services.

Who we're looking for:

We need experienced engineers who can find effective and creative solutions and can implement them independently.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years in DevOps / software infrastructure / system administration.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in the design, construction and operation of high-level infrastructures.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing and maintaining standards.
• Deep knowledge and experience with AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
• Deep knowledge and experience with Docker.
• Deep knowledge and experience with Kubernetes.
• Deep experience with tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
• Experience working with databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Skills to optimize infrastructure costs.
• Proficiency in any programming language such as Python, Go, Bash.
• Good practical skills in working with Linux, Windows Server operating systems.
  

Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of solutions and best practices to ensure high reliability, availability, scalability and performance of the system.
• Implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, promotion of automation, implementation and support of scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Construction and support of Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), automation of build, test and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Implement and support monitoring solutions to predict performance problems, ensure system availability and reliability.
• li>Implementation and support of security practices and methods, ensuring compliance with security standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Resolving complex technical issues, conducting cause and effect analysis and implementing preventive measures. Collaborate with various teams to resolve system issues and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Develop and maintain backup plans, including regular backup procedures, to ensure data integrity and system availability.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure that the infrastructure effectively supports the organization's needs. Calls with clients in the afternoon (as they are in Europe / USA).
