As a  DevOps Engineer , you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, on an innovative payments orchestration platform. This project aims to create a streamlined, reusable payment orchestration engine, ensuring secure and efficient payment processing from initiation to execution. The platform will integrate specialized applications for fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and more, enabling faster and more cost-effective delivery of new product features. You will play a critical role in configuring microservices and supporting the transformation of the current applications to meet the growing demands of partners and market schemes.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Kafka
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and service mesh technologies
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, including Linux OS, networking, and storage
• Expertise in monitoring and observability technologies like Prometheus and Splunk
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including network (VPC) and firewall configurations
• Experience in leading and mentoring technologists, with strong problem-solving abilities
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with the Kafka open-source project
• Expert-level SQL coding abilities
• Knowledge of the payments business
• Experience in cybersecurity and compliance with data privacy regulations
