DevOps engineer in AZinec

At AZinec, we’re currently seeking a DevOps engineer to join our dynamic team for an exciting project in collaboration with Lufthansa Systems. The ideal candidate will join the Cloud automation team, working extensively with Azure and Google Cloud platforms. This opportunity offers a chance to engage with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the seamless integration of cloud solutions. The selected candidate will have the chance to tackle challenging tasks, optimize workflows, and enhance system reliability through automation strategies.

Your tasks will be

• providing SaaS-based self-service platform offerings for product teams
• helping the cloud native transformation with technical advices from infrastructure and technology side
• automating cloud landing zones with heavy usage of Terraform and Github Actions
• maintain developer platform services (e.g. GitHub organizations, Nexus, Terraform Cloud, HashiCorp Vault)
• liaising between the software development and platform teams
• researching and experimenting cloud native technologies to find the most suitable and cost-efficient solution for the platform team
• developing your own areas of technical responsibilities
• using your English skills on daily basis

You will use the following technologies during your daily work

• CI/CD & GitOps (Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Nexus)
• IaC (Terraform, Terraform Cloud, HCL, Helm, bash)
• Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
• Authorization and identity management (Okta, OAuth2, OIDC, AzureAD)
• Cloud service providers (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Secret management solutions (HashiCorp Vault)

It’s a plus if you have experience with at least one of the following technologies

• Fleet/ArgoCD for Continuous Deployment
• Observability basics (Grafana, Fluentd/Fluentbit)
• Ansible
• Python/Javascript/Go
