DevOps engineer in Boosteroid

Boosteroid is a worldwide leading cloud gaming platform that provides easy and affordable access to the software and enables users to run high-end video games from any device, even an outdated Mac, low-performance PC, or ultraportable laptop. Boosteroid operates 18 points of presence with modern GPU infrastructure to provide high-end remote desktops for users, 12 of them in Europe and 6 in the US, and this amount is increasing on a crazy scale. Most of Boosteroid R&D team is based in Ukraine, with a headquarter in the United Arab Emirates, as well as operating offices in Romania, the USA, Poland, and Serbia.Also, Boosteroid has various technology providers such as Microsoft, Nvidia, Asus, AMD, and Intel, that help maintain a modern and powerful infrastructure. Requirements:• 3+ years of experience in administering/DevOps in a Linux/Unix environment• Strong knowledge with solutions based on Linux systems and Cloud solutions (AWS as plus);• Strong knowledge with containerized workloads and services Docker and Kubernetes, Helm-charts as big plus;• Robust skills with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI etc.;• Experience with automatic deployment tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform;• Experience with databases like: PostgresSQL, MySQL, DB Clustering etc;.• Version Control: Experience administrating version control systems such as GIT;• Solid scripting skills such as: Shell (Bash), Python, PHP, (JavaScript, VB Script, Windows Shell, Windows PowerShell will be considered as a big plus);• Understanding of Networking: network topologies and common network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, SMTP, IPMI, L2/L3 layers);• Knowledge of various monitoring tools (Grafana/ELK/Zabbix/Prometeus/CloudWatch etc.);• Storage/filesystems: nfs, RBD, Ceph, NAS, SAN, FreeNas as plus, lvm, ext*, xfs, raid*• Good knowledge with Virtualization platforms and services.Responsibilities:• Work directly with the Development team and product managers to test system integrity;• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management;• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning;• Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve;• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and co-workers on development and operations;• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement development delivery;• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards;• Manage CI and CD tools with team;• Document and design various processes; update existing processes;• Improve infrastructure development and application development.We offer:• Competitive salary;• Flexible working schedule;• Comfortable working environment;• Cozy office in 5 minutes from the metro;• Free lunches;• Paid vacation and sick leaves.
