Maxima Labs is looking for a DevOps specialist.

— LexisNexis Internet directory of all British lawyers and attorneys;
is an online library for the British Council in Mumbai;
— software for the automation of air sports for the FAI, which is also successfully used at the European and World Space Model Championships in Ukraine, the World International Games in Poland, the World Drone Racing Championships in China;
— development and support of the internal corporate website;
— Planetarium Noosphere.

Main areas of expertise:

— complex online solutions;
— integration with various hardware devices;
—parsing and data analysis;
—analysis of social networks;
— machine learning, neural networks, language processing, computational linguistics;
— GIS, image processing from drones and satellites, photogrammetry algorithms;
- modern technologies in archaeology.

What is important:

— 5 years of experience in the administration of Linux servers in production;
— deep knowledge of the principles of nix systems, as well as the TCP/IP protocol stack, for further search and troubleshooting of their work;
- at least 3 years of experience deploying and supporting AWS resources in production (VPC, EC2, EBS, RDS, ECR, EKS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, etc.);
- at least 3 years of experience in deployment and production support of projects using Nginx, Apache, PHP, NodeJS, Python, MySQL (standalone and cluster), MongoDB (standalone and cluster), Memcached, Redis (standalone and cluster), RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch (standalone and cluster), Zookeeper (standalone and cluster), Kafka (standalone and cluster), Docker/Podman (including building and optimizing images), software balancers and VRRP, Ansible (including writing custom roles), etc. ;
- experience in deployment and administration of DNS servers and mail servers based on Postfix, Dovecot, Spamassassin, Amavisd and LDAP;
— deploying and configuring a monitoring system based on Zabbix or Grafana + Prometheus, including setting up alerts, creating dashboards, and working with metrics;
— experience designing and writing Gitlab CI pipelines, Github Actions;
- Confident use of git;
- extensive experience in writing bash scripts for automating processes;
— detection and blocking of DDoS and bruteforce attacks;
— organization of the backup/restore process and emergency handling;
—organization of the software update process;
- basic knowledgein programming and programming experience in python, go, rust, php or other preferred.

Will be a plus:

- experience in deployment and production support of projects using Kubernetes (full life cycle, security , HPA, etc.), Helm (including writing charts), Kustomize, Argocd/Fluxcd, Terraform or similar (including writing modules), Velero or similar, ingress-nginx or similar, cert-manager, vault or similar, datree or similar, kube-hunter or similar.;

Responsibilities:

— supporting legacy projects, facilitating their migration to managed solutions and kubernetes;
—planning and deployment of infrastructure for a new site, choice of hosting;
— monitoring system settings;
- database settings;
- data migration from the old site to the new one;
—backup settings.
