DevOps in MODUS X

We started and continue to support the digital transformation of DTEK, which became the first in the energy industry of Ukraine on the path of large-scale digital transformation. We are looking for a DevOps specialist to join us and help take a number of existing and new projects to the next level. You will have to work on implementing new technologies and optimizing current processes. As part of project teams, you will be engaged in:

· Interact with several development teams and the existing DevOps team

· Be a technical expert for the project team

· Create automatic CI\CD pipelines for delivery of applications and infrastructure to development, testing and production environments.

· Within the framework of infrastructure configuration tasks, set tasks to the infrastructure support team, control and delegate their execution

· Ensure the deployment of new infrastructure components, automate the configuration of monitoring, backup processes, etc.

— implementing the process of changes and updates in the solution environment

— diagnosing and solving problems at work, setting up monitoring

— setting up product, test and integration environments, support teams for quality assurance, developers

- participation in system modernization projects and integration with other related systems

- support and support in the current state of configuration management databases, knowledge within the scope system application

- interaction with system integrators, cloud providers, other development participants - development of operational documentation and instructions

Education:

Higher in areas: computer technology, telecommunication systems and networks, applied mathematics, system programming

Professional competences:

- Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles\ DevSecOps, GitOps, Scrum, Agile

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (GitHub actions, GitLabCI, etc.) in the development and maintenance of CI/CD processes, for applicationsproducts that will be deployed in the cloud

- Experience with monitoring and tracking systems (for example, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, etc.)

- Knowledge at the administrator level linux-based environments (Ubuntu \ RedHat) and automated scripting

- Hands-on experience with IaC using automation tools/configuration management systems (eg Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager)

—Practical experience in providing and deploying cloud infrastructure in Azure;

Use of services: Azure Service Bus, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Function, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure SQL, AKS, Azure high-performance computing etc

-Practical experience of provisioning and deployment cloud infrastructure in AWS;

Will be a plus:

- understanding of setting up the build process and distribution of mobile applications (Android, iOS)

- experience of working with solutions based on .net core, java containers

— advanced knowledge (at the DBA level) of the principles of MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure Queues and Service Bus Queues, experience in their administration and diagnostics

— knowledge of the best DevOps practices and methodology

- experience of working with a large corporate business
