The Eastern Europe Foundation announces a competition for the position of a development specialist. The development specialist will work under the leadership of the development, monitoring and evaluation manager and will support the development team in coordinating work processes, preparing and submitting project concepts and proposals. The specialist will work with the development team and the development, monitoring and evaluation manager on all grant application processes: identifying relevant opportunities, writing proposals, collecting data and relevant documents, and submitting developed applications. Start date: May 2024. Location: Kyiv, UkraineEmployment: full-timeWork format: offline/onlineTasks and responsibilities: Support and implementation of development work: monitoring grant competitions and other funding opportunities; participation in the development of project proposals, in particular information search and analysis, preparation of quality supporting documents in accordance with deadlines; translation of short documents required for the development of applications; maintaining a register of grant applications. Networking and cooperation: cooperation with program staff and other units of the FSE within the framework of coordination of the development of project proposals; cooperation with representatives of civil society. Knowledge management: collection of data on work processes, database management data; help in the development of reports and presentations. Qualification requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in management, public administration, social sciences, economics or other relevant field. At least one year of work experience in non-profit organizations or projects with donor funding. Proficiency in English at a level not lower than B1. Knowledge of MS Office tools.
