We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the integration of newly acquired companies into our existing IT infrastructure. This will involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations. The work is mainly remote, but with an readiness to business travel once a month.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience with desktop operating systems such as Windows 10 and macOS.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with remote access technologies such as RDP, VNC, and SSH.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.
• Experience in PC configurations, profiles, migration technologies.
• Experience with security tools like Crowdstrike, Thycotic and SCCM/ inTune for endpoint management and software delivery required.
• Familiar with ITIL and ITSM processes preferred.
• Experience with project management and documentation.
• Strong organizational skills: ability to multitask and prioritize with attention to details
• Advanced level of written and verbal English skills required
