Design Engineer (Solidworks) in Pro recruitment

We are looking for a Design Engineer who will be responsible for the development and bringing to serial readiness mechanical units of complex technical systems. In this role, you will work to create structures where precision, stiffness, wear resistance and repairability are critical parameters, and every engineering decision directly affects the reliability of the product in real-world conditions.

Key tasks:

• Full-cycle design of mechanical systems, assemblies and components for military use — from idea to finished prototype.
• Development of high-precision 3D models and working drawings in CAD systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) taking into account the integration of electronics and optical elements.
• Performance of strength, stability calculations and resources of structures (analytical methods and FEM), optimization of mass-dimensional parameters.
• Formation of a complete package of technical documentation: specifications, technological maps, product passports and operating instructions.
• Modernization and improvement of existing solutions to increase reliability, accuracy, as well as reduce mass and energy consumption.
• Conduct technical analysis, identify causes of failure or damage and development of corrective technical measures.
• Implementation of modern technologies: 3D printing, composite materials, modular solutions, cushioning systems to increase accuracy, mobility and autonomy of products.
• Interaction with adjacent departments, participation in technical reviews, prototype tests and certification procedures.

Desired competencies:

• Education: full or partial higher technical education, deep understanding of engineering and design principles.
• Professional knowledge of CAD: SolidWorks, AutoCAD and other CAD systems.
• Regular literacy: knowledge of ESD for the design and verification of working drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Knowledge of the component base: optimal selection of fasteners, rolled metal and materials for specific designs.
• Advantages: experience working with composite materials, knowledge of their production technologies and design features.
