Design engineer (shipbuilding) in Pro recruitment

We are looking for an expert who combines the skills of a design engineer, hydrodynamic analyst and tester to create custom motorboats. The expert is responsible for the full cycle: from theoretical calculations of hulls and seaworthiness to supporting the production of test samples and analyzing their behavior on water. The key task is the development of vessels with different types of propulsion (propeller, waterjet, aero), the creation of comprehensive design documentation and test methods. We are looking for a responsible specialist capable of transforming complex customer requirements into reliable watercraft that demonstrate the highest efficiency in real conditions.

Expected results:

Key tasks:

• Development of hull designs of motor boats and motorboats taking into account the specifics of various types of engines.

• Conducting stability, seaworthiness and speed calculations.

• Prodesign of power plant installation units (engines, water jets, air drives).

• Identification and elimination of constructive shortcomings based on the results of the analysis of test protocols.

• Participation in the development and refinement of the operating documentation (instructions, vessel passports).

Expectations from the candidate:

• Practical experience in designing motor boats or boats that have successfully passed the test stage.

• In-depth knowledge of ship dynamics and seamanship principles." text-decoration: none"> SolidWorks (or similar CAD systems)

• Experience with regulatory documentation

• Ability to clearly and meaningfully describe technical solutions, draw up protocols and reports based on development results.

• Proactivity: the ability to predict the impact of structural changes on the operational properties of the vessel.

• Responsibility and organization, willingness to work in close cooperation with the production department.
