UNN (Ukrainian National News) information agency is looking for a deputy editor-in-chief. If you know how to work with large volumes of information and manage a journalist team, then this job is for you. 

Requirements:

• Experience in the media (from 4 years); 
• Experience in management positions (senior editor, head of department) from one year; 
• Ability to organize editorial work, planning skills; 
• Knowledge of news journalism standards; 
• Basic knowledge of SEO in news content; 
• Skills for monitoring the information field, tracking information trends and understanding how to respond to them; 
• Ability to work with large flows of information, prioritize content; 
• Ability to verify information and its origin; 
• Understanding the principles of selecting a visual component; 
• Perfect command of the Ukrainian language. 

Content and quality control

• Monitoring the information field, tracking the information agenda, determining priority topics; 
• Formation based on monitoring of the information field of tasks for editors/journalists; 
• Formation based on monitoring of the information field of the content plan for the day/week/month; 
• Control of implementation of tasks and content of plans; 
• Checking the quality of articles, analytical and exclusive materials of journalists before publication;
• Control of headlines on the news feed; 
• Control of the visual component; 
• Control over the regularity of filling all thematic sections of the site; 
• Interaction with SEO specialists.
