The Right to Protection, CF
GENERAL INFORMATION displaced persons (IDPs), war victims, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of the protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. the capacity of local organizations and the effectiveness of the work of public sector participants and promoting the development of permanent, mutually reinforcing contacts and partnerships between them. Civil society organizations are important subjects that significantly complement the function of the state in providing social, humanitarian, educational and other needs of citizens. Therefore, they should develop and become professional, systematic and accountable in their work. BF "Right to Protection" focuses on work with CSOs working in the same fields as the Foundation.
BF "Right to Protection" is looking for a candidate for the position of Deputy Coordinator of the capacity building program of local organizations in Kyiv. The activity involves a business trip.
Duties and tasks: under the direct supervision of the Coordinator of the Program for Strengthening the Capacity of Local Organizations, the employee must:
Conduct informational, explanatory work, training among Program specialists on general issues related to the organization of work processes, work planning;
Establish coordination and interaction with all areas of the Program (mentoring support for micro-grants and partnerships) in order to ensure sustainable work etc.);
Coordinate the operational work of Program specialists and their proper documentation of projects in the CRM system of the fund, Asana, etc.
Promptly collect and analyze new categories of requests from CSOs, initiate the development of necessary instructional and informational materials;
none">Ensure cooperation with civil society organizations;coration: none">Comply with the Code of Conduct and Foundation Policies.Professional requirements:
Higher education;
Work experience in Ukrainian civil society organizations and international donor projects related to humanitarian aid and charity for at least 5 years;
Experience in managing projects and teams;
Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies;
Fluency in the Ukrainian language;
Proficiency in English at a level not lower than B2 (is an advantage);
Ability to analyze information, identify problems and develop solutions. Attention to detail;
High communication skills, ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with different people;
Experience working with internally displaced and/or vulnerable groups and communities will be an advantage;
Knowledge of computer programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Developed organizational and executive skills;
Fair treatment of all people, lack of bias and discrimination. Adherence to the principles of gender equality and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
Politeness and diplomacy;
Ability to work in a team, fast adaptation;
Flexibility.
