Demand planning manager in Syngenta

The company Syngenta - a leader in the international market of agrochemicals and seeds, is opening a competition for experienced and ambitious specialists for the position of Demand Planning Manager.

Location: Kyiv / Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced demand planner for the Seeds business unit.

You will manage forecasting and planning processes within the S&OP cycle, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, finance and supply. Your goal is to achieve operational excellence and profitable growth through accurate planning and optimal seed distribution to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct monthly demand planning meeting.
• Coordinating the monthly sales plan between divisions and customers.
• Determine the priorities of shipments between customers for the current month.
• Distribute products among customers taking into account quality and availability.
• Record reasons for changes in plans and necessary actions to execute sales.
• Communicate product distribution decisions to the commercial team and agree replacements as needed.
• Prepare analytical reports for planning meetings, teams sales and management.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and work to improve it.
• Maintain customer plans, update them in case of changes in demand or supply.

Requirements:

• Higher education (logistics, economics or related majors).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
• In-depth understanding of planning processes and forecasting.
• Experience in international companies will be an advantage, experience in agribusiness is desirable.
• Expert level of MS Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or willingness to learn quickly.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
• Knowledge of S&OP principles and methodology.
• Fluency in English (oral and written).
