Specialist/rank in providing assistance in the field of protection in The Right to Protection, CF

BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), war victims, persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, persons at increased risk of statelessness and persons without documents. Since the beginning of the military invasion in Eastern Ukraine, the Foundation has been monitoring the situation of IDP rights protection, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Today, the Fund works in almost all regional centers and communities within the respective regions.

DESCRIPTION PROJECT

The position will operate within the project “SHIELD: Support, Humanitarian response and Strengthening of local resilience in Ukraine", which is aimed at solving the problems of vulnerable segments of the population, IDPs and other persons affected by the conflict, in hard-to-reach areas, as well as in collective centers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• identify beneficiaries in need of protection assistance;
• assess their risks and needs;
• accompany beneficiaries in the process of receiving assistance;
• enter information into the CRM system;

• participate in post-distribution monitoring;
• Follow the Code of Conduct and Fund Policies.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• higher education;
• experience working with IDPs and other persons affected by armed conflict aggression, belong to vulnerable population groups or find themselves in difficult life circumstances;
• understanding of humanitarian principles;
• desire to help people;
• good communication skills, politeness and diplomacy;
• knowledge of Ukrainian and Russian languages.
