DBA consultant in ITG

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented DBA to join our team and provide advisory services for start-up project. This job has a flexible schedule and benefits from working from home. Employment is up to 10 hours a week so that you can combine it with your main job.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong knowledge of standard PostgreSQL specifics, features, functions, and capabilities as described in the documentation;

- Profound experience in optimizing PostgreSQL configuration/setup for different types of applications as well as optimizing individual queries;

- Experience with managed PostgreSQL instances (either Azure or AWS);

- Experience with MS SQL or any other major RDBMS is a plus;

- Experience with Graphs is a plus.

EXPECTED ACTIVITY:

Consult and assist the developer's team on best practices, optimal DB usage, and best approach in maintaining DB in the proper optimal state, writing scripts, etc.
