BF "Right to Defense" (Fund)- a charitable foundation operating in partnership with HIAS, a global organization providing aid to refugees. The fund focuses its activities on providing legal and, from February 24, 2022, humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons (hereinafter IDPs), persons, persons who suffered as a result of military operations in their territory of residence, persons in need of international protection, persons without citizenship, persons at risk of becoming stateless and persons without documents.

The purpose of the project is to provide multi-purpose monetary assistance to vulnerable categories of IDPs and local residents affected by the war in Zaporizhzhia region. Assistance will be provided to the most vulnerable categories of persons, taking into account their combined income, state of health and other important criteria.

DUTIES AND TASKS

Under the direct supervision of the project manager , the employee will perform the following duties:

  • Consolidation and analysis of information and writing on their basis analytical reports on the situation with respect to human rights and IDPs and reports for the donor in the agreed terms;

  • Presentation of the organization's activities, monitoring results and issues during public events and meetings;

  • Communication with partner organizations;

  • Working with project documentation and materials (drafting, editing, translation, writing reports, etc.);

  • Efficient and timely execution of daily operational tasks;

  • Helping the project manager in communication and cooperation with other areas of the Fund and the donor to ensure that the project achieves the expected results;

  • Administrative and technical support necessary for the successful implementation of project activities;

  • Participation in the organization of meetings and events within the framework of the project;

  • Translation of various input/output documentation (as needed);

  • Understanding and Compliance with the Codebehaviours and other policies of the Fund.

Professional requirements

  • Higher education (humanitarian, economic, legal, etc.);

  • The level of English language proficiency is not lower than level B2 (oral, written);

  • Knowledge of the problems of internal displacement and the course of the conflict in Ukraine;

  • Advanced level of mastery of Excel, Word, Google;

  • Previous experience in humanitarian or human rights organizations will be an advantage;

  • Skills of systematization, analysis and processing of large volumes of information;

  • Good plan skillsvalues ​​and focus on achieving results;

  • Attention to details, inquisitiveness, critical thinking, willingness and ability to complete tasks under tight deadlines;

  • Ability to work with documentation;

  • Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy;

  • Skill in preparing and writing reports;

  • Aspiration and ability for self-improvement and development.
