Database Engineer in Tech ask

We are looking for Database Engineer for American multinational payment card services corporation

• Higher education degree is a must
• Fluent English
• Minimum 7 years of MySQL database management, including the design, development, and maintenance of databases.
• Expertise in SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Experience with database normalization and denormalization techniques.
• Knowledge of database indexing and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security.
• Understanding of replication strategies and implementation, such as Primary/Replica or Primary/Secondary setups.
• Proficiency in using MySQL Workbench or similar tools.
• Experience with database migration projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with a programming language such as Python, or Java is a plus.

Specialist will have to complete:

• end client's documents
• end client's background check process prior onboarding
• client's background check after onboarding

Technical verification:

• 2 - 4 steps (including technical verification, live code challenges etc.)
