MEAL Database Assistant in Save the Children

Save the Children International is a humanitarian organization with more than 100 years of history. Save the Children was founded in May 1919 in London.  SCI has been working in Ukraine since 2014. It started its work in the territory of Donetsk region. Currently, SCI is expanding its activities to eight cities of Ukraine. We work in the areas of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and also conduct advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights.  

Main duties: 

• Registration of data in appropriate data collection forms
• Management of data in databases upon request
• Conducting telephone interviews as part of needs assessment or other data collection, if necessary.< span>
  
  

Requirements for candidates:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, data analysis, computer science, psychology, political science, economics, international development or a related discipline.
• Fluency in English at a level of at least B1< /li>
• 1+ year of experience working as a hotline operator, customer support or working with large databases
• 1+ year of experience working in an NGO.
• Data collection experience and skills manage and analyze large data sets quickly
• Understanding of database design and management
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel
• Strong communication skills< /li>
• Ability to meet deadlines
