Data Analyst, SQL

Level: Junior+ / Middle-
Location: Ukraine, remote
Type of projects: Commercial

Main duties

• Working with data sources and large amounts of information: audit, quality control and analysis data.

• Working with Microsoft SQL Server: import/export of data, creation of queries, preparation of samples and reports.

• Formation of analytical reports and visualizations (regular and ad hoc reports).

• Independent development of analytics, optimization of queries, structure of reports.

• (Preferred) Automation of reporting and construction of regular dashboards.

Requirements for the candidate
Technical skills

• T-SQL — above average level (aggregation, grouping, complex join, calculation functions).

• Experience with SQL Server from 6 months.

• Ability to work with stored procedures, "window" functions, functions and dynamic views.

• MS Excel - high level: working with large data sets, pivot tables, charts, complex formulas, data formatting.

• Confident mastery of MS PowerPoint.

• English language - from B1 (for work tasks and communication).

At the interview there will be a test to determine the level of SQL knowledge.

Education

• Higher or incomplete higher technical education (4-5 year student - ok).

Desired additional skills (plus)

• Basic knowledge of ETL (SQL Server Integration Services).

• Experience with Power BI.

• Knowledge of Python (for analytical tasks or automation).
