Requirements:

• Higher education;
• 2+ years of experience in a similar position;
• Experience in configuring and maintaining a fault-tolerant cluster based on PostgreSQL (using Patroni or other software).

Main duties:

— PostgreSQL administration, configuration, settings;
— Analysis and resolution of complex infrastructure incidents;
— Work with highly loaded databases working 24×7;
— Setting up and maintaining DB replication (physical replication, patroni);
— Identification of "bottlenecks" and optimization of parameters for database operation;
— Writing and modifying shell scripts (bash, sh);
—Configuration and use when working with PostgreSQL complex packages (Patroni, pgBouncer, bgBadger, ansible, etc.);
— Monitoring and operational provision of resource availability;
—Update of DB versions;
— Consulting developers on optimizing requests to the database from system services.

Our projects:

1. "DataHub" is a highly loaded data exchange system between participants of the energy market of Ukraine. Currently, the project is at the development stage, but the testing of some modules has already started.

2. The "Electronic Auction Platform (EAP)" is being developed to automate joint auctions for the allocation of access to the capacity of interstate electricity networks of Ukraine and system operators of neighboring countries.

3. "Industry reporting" is a platform to replace the outdated mechanisms that have shaped the electricity reporting of Ukraine for the past 30-40 years. The main users of the platform are reporting entities (electricity suppliers and energy-generating enterprises of Ukraine), controller and consolidator of reporting PJSC NEC Ukrenergo, as well as customers reporting by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the commission of the NCRECP and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

4.«Technological portal» is aimed at building an organized information collection system, creating a single center for storing, processing and visualizing reliable and operational information necessary for decision-making regarding the regulation of the electricity market of Ukraine.

5. "Svarog" is a resource graph verification system that helpse control the balancing market and analyze the potential opportunities of market participants.
