General job description

We are looking for an experienced and qualified database system administrator with experience with Oracle, MS SQL and PostgeSQL. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience in installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining databases to ensure their smooth operation and optimal performance.

ONLY for reserve officers with a contract signed prior to the announcement of the demobilization decision and assignment for a position in one of the units of the MOU.

Main functions

• installation, configuration, adjustment and updating of Oracle, MS databases SQL and PostgeSQL.
• monitoring and optimization of database performance to ensure efficient system operation and minimize downtime
• work with the reporting system in relevant systems
• interaction with administrators other systems that use databases for their work.
• ensuring database security, including debugging access, backup, recovery and data protection against unauthorized access
• solving problems related to with databases, and providing adequate support for users and developers
• implementing database changes and updates according to project requirements.
• collaborating with development teams and other IT team members to ensure high availability and performance of databases

Basic requirements

• experience in installation, configuration and support of Oracle, MS SQL and PostgeSQL databases data
• deep understanding of database architecture and the basic principles of their operation
• ability to solve problems and the ability to work in stressful situations
• knowledge of SQL queries and the ability to test and optimize queries
• knowledge of reporting components of relevant systems
• knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures
• ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a team environment
