What you will do

• Administer databases
• Handle backups and restores
• Be responsible for database security
• Provide monitoring and optimization of performance
• Study and analyze the architecture and interaction of existing IT systems, develop models for their optimization
• Identify critical situations in the work of IT systems and determine the causes by collaborating with responsible departments
• Prepare requirements for system monitoring and backup
• Monitor SLA fulfillment
• Provide support for operating systems (Winows&Linux)

What qualifications and experience are required

• Practical experience in installing, configuring, updating, monitoring and optimizing databases
• 2+ years of experience working with DBMS (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MsSQL)
• Experience in designing and implementing data backup and recovery strategies
• Understanding of data security techniques including authentication, authorization, encryption and access monitoring
• Experience in using performance monitoring tools as well as troubleshooting database performance issues
• Administrator level knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows server/Linux)
• Basic understanding of network protocols < /li>
• Experience with technical documentation (preparation, life cycle)
• Experience with business and technical requirements within products/projects
• English at B1 level< /li>

A plus will be

• A high level of expertise in the language of SQL queries and the ability to optimize SQL queries
• Knowledge of Unix system administration
