We are currently looking for aDatabase Administrator who will be responsible for the management, support and security of databases in the company.

Skills:

• DBMS administration: PostgreSQL (expert), MSSQL Server (expert), MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, MS Fabric
• Cloud technologies: Cloud Databases (Azure, AWS), AWS RDS for PostgreSQL (deployment, configuration, monitoring), database resource planning in AWS
• High availability and replication: Database High Availability, Replication
• Backup and recovery: Backup/Recovery, Database Export/Import, creation of DRP plans
• Design and optimization: DBMS installation and configuration, data schema design, performance optimization, analysis of query plans, working with indexes
• Development SQL: writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers (SQL, PL/pgSQL, PL/Python, PL/Perl)
• Integration and migrations: cross-platform migration, development of data loading procedures from different sources
• Automation and monitoring: creation of scripts for automation of administration and monitoring
• Operating systems: Windows Server+, Linux
• Experience in critical environments: in cooperation with the development team, performance analysis, incident resolution in AWS RDS

Certificates in the following areas (preferred):

• The presence of Microsoft certification will be a plus

Responsibilities:

• Administration of PostgreSQL, elastic search, Mysql, MariaDB
• DBMS installation, architecture and implementation
• Installationupdates and cross-platform migration
• Creating and maintaining scripts for automation of administration and monitoring tasks
• Creating recovery plans (DRP)
• Optimizing performance.
