We are looking for a Database Administrator with strong PostgreSQL experience who is eager to grow in the cloud / data / platform direction, work with managed PostgreSQL solutions and influence the stability and architecture of systems in close cooperation with the DevOps team.

About you:

• have 3+ years of commercial experience with PostgreSQL
• well understand: transactions, MVCC, indexes; explain / analyze; blocking, long transactions, autovacuum
• worked with databases in the cloud environment
• are interested in cloud platforms and want to develop in this direction
• have a basic understanding of AWS / Azure / GCP (managed databases, services)
• are not afraid of infrastructure as a code and are ready to work with Terraform
• can communicate with developers and find solutions together
• independence and responsibility are in our DNA

• administer and support PostgreSQL in a cloud environment
• work with roles, accesses, schemes and security (are ready templates)
• analyze performance, help with database optimization
• participate in planning changes, upgrades and stability improvement
• work with existing infrastructure in Terraform
• involve incident analysis and process improvement
• closely interact with DevOps and development teams

More we will appreciate:

• experience with AWS RDS / Aurora PostgreSQL
• Terraform (at the level of support and gradual improvement)
• OpenSearch / Kafka / Redis
• experience in production or high-load systems
• interest in the data ecosystem in general
