Database administrator in EVA – liniya magaziniv

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position from 2 years;

• Sure knowledge of SQL (relational databases, transactions, locks, indexes, error handling, code refactoring, query optimization);

• Communication skills with developers, reconciliation of differences between requirements;

• Experience in the description of technical documentation;

• Knowledge of DBMS (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, HANA, Oracle);

• Knowledge of DBMS architecture;

• OS Linux, MS Windows Server;

Responsibilities:

• Installation and configuration of SQL servers,

• DB migration,

• Monitoring the performance of DBMS,

• DB planning and scaling,

• Management and monitoring of DB nodes and clusters: performance and capacity planning, connectivity and security,

• Support and troubleshooting (incident and problem management),

• Development and updating of technical and user documentation,

• Research and analysis of technical errors, error correction,

• Database backup and recovery,

• Ensuring uninterrupted operation of the database, integrity of databases.
