Database administrator in lifecell

We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our lifecell team - a Ukrainian mobile operator that has been providing real freedom of communication for more than 15 years on the market.

Area of ​​responsibility

• Assessment, planning and expansion of existing infrastructure functionality
• Ensuring high performance and availability of business critical databases
• Fast database service restoration
• 24x7 database support
• Cooperation with other database user divisions
• Interaction with software suppliers, integrators, technical support

Functional Responsibilities

• Oracle RDBMS and Oracle RAC Administration, Installation, Versioning and Patching

• Administration and troubleshooting in the following areas:

• Oracle RAC, ASM, performance tuning
• Configuring and switching Oracle Database Physical Standby
• Performing comprehensive data recovery in various ways
• DB cloning, advanced replication, backup and recovery using RMAN
• Configuring Flash Recovery Features and Flash back
• Managing alerts and notifications

• Solving complex problems and implementing permanent or temporary solutions: performing query tuning, troubleshooting/troubleshooting, determining plan stability, implementing query guidelines

• Identifying bottlenecks and optimizing capacity according to with Oracle AWR, ASH, and Oracle Diagnostic/Tuning or operating system statistics.

• Constant exchange of data with internal audit regarding the correctness of audit controls. Constant exchange of data with the IT security department regarding security issues at the database level.

Requirements

• Education - higher technical
• Experience in administration of RDBMS Oracle, Oracle RAC - from 5 years
• Languages: Ukrainian - fluent, English - above average
• PC skills High level
• Knowledge in the following technologies:

• RDBMS : Oracle 11g/12c/19c

• OS : Red Hat Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux,      Oracle Exadata will be an advantage

• Languages ​​: SQL and PL/SQL, UNIX Shell, SED/AWK will be an advantage

• High Availability : Oracle 11g/12c/19c RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN
