- Administer databases
- Do backups and restores
- Responsible for database security
- Ensure monitoring and optimization of performance
- Study and analyze the architecture and interaction of existing IT systems, develop models for their optimization
- Identify critical situations in the operation of IT systems and determine the causes in cooperation with responsible departments< /li>
- Prepare requirements for system monitoring and backup
- Control SLA fulfillment
- Provide support for operating systems (Winows&Linux)
What qualifications and experience are required
- Practical experience in installing, configuring, updating, monitoring and optimizing databases
- Experience 2+ years of working with DBMS (Oracle , MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MsSQL)
- Experience in designing and implementing data backup and recovery strategies
- Understanding of data security techniques including authentication, authorization, encryption and access monitoring
- Experience in using performance monitoring tools, as well as in solving database performance problems
- Knowledge of Operating Systems at the administrator level (Windows server/Linux)
- Basic understanding network protocols
- Experience with technical documentation (preparation, life cycle)
- Experience with business and technical requirements within products/projects
- English language B1 level
A plus will be
- A high level of expertise in the language of SQL queries and the ability to optimize SQL queries
- Knowledge of Unix system administration
