The Data &BI team owns the group’s Data &Analytics platforms spanning Data Engineering, Analytical Engineering and Business Intelligence tolead the group’s data-driven modernisation both internally and for its clients. The Data Warehouse Engineer will play avital role aspart ofacross-functional team todevelop data pipelines toingest, transform, distribute and expose data from the group’s Core Data Lake for integration, reporting, analytics, and automations. The chosen candidate needs tobepassionate about building scalable data models and architecture for consumption byother teams with the aim ofmaking iteasy for BI, Analytics, Product and other data consumers tobuild data-driven solutions, features and insights. Responsibilities Develop data models and schemas tooptimize data storage, retrieval and serving for analytics. Provide clean data sets toend users, modelling data inaway that empowers end users toanswer their own questions. Integrate data from different sources (e.g., databases, APIs, files) toprovide aunified view ofthe data, preparing itfor the unified data model, and ensure the data isaccessible, accurate, and secure. Collaborate with the other teams toaddress data sourcing and provision requirements Coordinate with the Data Architect and Data Product toprovide reporting interfaces Apply software engineering best practices toanalytical transformation code (version control, testing, continuous integration) Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies indata and analytical engineering. Maintain data documentation and definitions Required Skills and Experience: 3+years ofexperience indata engineering, analytical engineering, data warehousing orarelated field. Degree inComputer Science, Software Development orEngineering Proficient inSQL Experience with Snowflake and dbt ismandatory Understanding ofRDMS, Columnar and NoSQL engines &their performance, especially PostgreSQLor equivalent Desire todeep dive into business Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level ofaccuracy and attention todetail indata-related tasks.
