Data Steward (Specialist in technological support of data management systems) in PrivatBank

Main duties:

• Communication with bank employees of different levels and departments
• Maintenance of Data Catalog - describe data (tables, fields and other entities) in such a way that to make it clear to data users (analysts, data engineers, etc.) what specific entities are and what they are used for.
• Work on building a data lineage (Data Lineage), that is, describe the evolution of data - how it comes from the primary systems and what happens to them next, build graphs and charts
• Work on Data Discovery - explore data in the Bank in different systems, find personal data
• Configure and manage specialized Data tools Discovery (for example, to find and identify personal data)
• Build rules and processes, describe them in documentation, implement data management processes

Basic requirements:

• Higher education
• Experience in a bank 2+ years
• Any experience working with data (analyst, etc.) 2+ years
• Understanding of SQL query language.Ability to write moderate scripts (selects with conditions, JOINs, etc.) and read complex scripts, as well as a desire to develop these skills.
• High level of communication, which includes in oral communication and business correspondence
• Ability to organize meetings and conduct them
• Understand key business and IT processes of the Bank
• Ability to build business processes
< li>Ability to build mind maps (in particular, for business processes)
• Able to quickly master new software
• Ability to work with the Google office suite: documents, tables, presentations
< li>Attention to details. Ability to look for patterns
• English language: Intermediate (B1+)

Would be preferred:

• Knowledge of primary and secondary data sources
• Understanding the processes of maintaining the Data Catalog and Data Governance
