As a Data Security SME, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of data security and compliance. Your role will focus on identifying, deploying, and configuring advanced toolsets to mitigate data security risks. You will collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to drive the implementation of robust data protection strategies, ensuring that all information security requirements are met and adhered to across the organization.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Expertise in DLP products, with experience in at least two (e.g., Symantec DLP, McAfee CASB, MIP data classification)
• Demonstrable experience in Data at Rest Security, including running classification scans and file labeling
• Experience in managing policy and whitelisting guidelines
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead governance meetings with stakeholders, including Audit
• Formal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• A proven track record of making strategic business decisions with a focus on long-term implications and stakeholder needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across global teams

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
• Experience with data security tools deployment in large-scale financial environments
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and their impact on data security strategies
• Experience with cloud security tools and practices
• Advanced certifications in cybersecurity or information security
