Data Scientist (Kyiv, offline) in Creo Design

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team to work with data, analyze and build models that help businesses make informed decisions. The position is suitable for beginners in the field of Data Science, as well as for candidates with minimal experience or students who want to gain practical experience in real projects.

We are open to candidates with no experience, with minimal work experience, as well as students of technical and analytical specialties.

Main responsibilities: 
Working with data

• Collection, processing and preparation of data from various sources

• Analysis of large data sets and search for patterns

• Cleaning, normalization and transformation of data

• Checking the quality and correctness of data

Analytics and modeling

• Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA)

• Building basic statistical and ML-models

• Evaluation of model quality and interpretation of results

• Preparation of recommendations based on received data

Business decision support

• Working with business metrics and performance indicators

• Assisting teams in data-based decision-making

• User behavior analysis / customers

• Looking for opportunities to optimize processes

Interaction with the team

• Cooperation with analysts, developers and managers

• Participation in team meetings and discussions

• Preparation of reports and presentations of analysis results

• Documentation of the performed work

Learning and development

• Learning new tools and approaches in Data Science

• Application of theoretical knowledge in practice

• Gradual development to Middle Data Scientist

Requirements for the candidate:

• Basic knowledge of Python (or another language for analysis data)

• Understanding the basics of statistics and probability

• Basic understanding of machine learning principles

• Skills with tables and data arrays

• Analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and grow

• No work experience mandatory

Would be an advantage:

• Experience with libraries (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn)

• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Training or pet projects in data analysis

• Understanding of business analytics or e-commerce
