This role involves improving our search systems, analyzing large datasets, and leveraging advanced statistical methods todrive decision-making processes. Key responsibilities: Enhance and optimize the search algorithms onour e-commerce platform. Conduct extensive data analysis incolumnar databases such asClickHouse and utilize tools like Tableau for visual analytics. Apply simulation modeling techniques for robust hypothesis testing. Develop and test models toimprove system functionalities and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams tointegrate system improvements effectively. Required skills and qualifications: Experience indeveloping and optimizing models for e-commerce orsimilar platforms. Strong analytical skills with experience inmanaging large datasets incolumnar databases (e.g., ClickHouse). Proficient insimulation and statistical modeling techniques. Solid understanding ofstatistical analysis, predictive modeling, and algorithm design. Proficiency inPython and familiarity with statistical programming. Nice-to-have skills: Knowledge ofReal-Time Bidding (RTB) systems and full-text search implementations. Experience with additional programming languages oranalytics tools. Experience with Pandas, R, and other popular analytical frameworks.
