We are looking for a Data Scientist developer to join our team, which is engaged in the development of an advanced product in the field of cyber security - ransomware scanning and data backup. Our team consists of 30 specialists, including developers, testers, managers and devops.
Elastio is a comprehensive platform that combines data protection with data integrity to ensure recovery from attacks. Our technology uses advanced algorithms to detect and analyze ransomware, malware, and data corruption in real-time, allowing you to quickly gain information about infrastructure damage and safely recover from incidents.
Our team consists of several sub-teams that are engaged in the development of various services of the program.
As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in our data analytics initiatives. Your primary goal is to develop accurate predictive models using limited inputs. You will use your knowledge of applied mathematics to contribute to solving world-class global problems in the field of cyber security.
Responsibilities:
- Development and improvement of ransomware detection algorithms using machine learning and artificial intelligence methods.
- Analyze large volumes of data to identify new threats and improve current detection models.
- Implementation and testing of models to optimize them and increase the accuracy of threat detection.
- Collaboration with development team to integrate solutions.
- Creation and maintenance of documentation on developed models and algorithms.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Experience as a Data Scientist - from 5 years.
- Proficiency in algebra and statistics with the ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world business problems.
- Strong critical thinking skills to investigate problems, assess data quality, identify potential hazards, and make informed decisions.
- Experience developing prediction models with limited data availability.
- R development experience (not required, but preferred).
- Proficiency in English from B2 level.
