Data Scientist in Playtech

Description:Playtech BI team is responsible for collecting, organizing, presenting & utilizing data across all Playtech products and services. The team is growing, accounting for more than 20 developers, data scientists and data engineers.The data science team is comprised of 10 data scientists who operate like a regular development team. The team develops AI systems such as: personalized recommendations, detection of players at risk, churn detection and more. The models control every major aspect of the player user experience.Job Purpose: Develop production data science applications in Python, end to end.Primary Responsibilities: • Design and develop new AI services from scratch.• Maintain and enhance current data science pipelines in complex high-load applications.• Closely cooperate with R&D and DevOps teams.• Research, invent and adapt machine learning algorithms for dedicated business needs.• Perform predictive and statistical modelling.• Perform ad-hoc analyses as required. Qualification:• Proven experience of 4 years as a Python developer (PyCharm, git, debugging).• Proven experience of 3 years in predictive modeling, preferably in data science production services.• A minimum of 3 years of tabular or time series data analysis as data developer, data scientist or data analyst.• Strong team player, with excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a remote environment.• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and visualization.• High level of English.• Experience in direct communication with business is a plus.• Experience in REST API and cloud deployment is a plus.• Experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.Education:• BS in Economics\Mathematics\Statistics is a must.• MS Economics\Mathematics\Statistics is a plus.
