Strong technical skills indata science, statistical modeling, machine learning, and A/B testing are essential for this role. 🔹 What You Will Do: Partner closely with product, operations, and engineering tounderstand the business processes and identify impactful opportunities therein Dive into operational data and suggest changes toimprove the fidelity, accuracy and accessibility ofthat data for optimization purposes Build optimization models totake advantage ofthe opportunities identified Design and implement tests tomeasure the impact ofmodels and business tactics Conduct quantitative analysis tomonitor and tune models and business processes Communicate summaries ofdeeply technical results toabroad audience Partner with machine learning engineers todeliver models inPython that can bedeployed inproduction Collaborate onour data science technical roadmap Meet regularly with other business stakeholders todevelop strategies 🔹 Requirments: Experience indata analysis 5+years, applied statistics, machine learning, oreconometrics atthe industry level, orstrong experience between academia and industry Excellent communication skills and the interest and ability tocommunicate tonon-technical stakeholders Command offundamental statistics and probability theory Significant experience with atypical data science technology stack Experience working with relational databases and cloud solutions, e.g. Postgres, Google BigQuery, Google Datastore and Google Cloud Storage. Experience inpython data stacks, e.g. Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn and Matplotlib.
