AsaData Science Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity towork onprojects that directly impact our users’ listening experience and contribute tothe continuous improvement ofour platform. We’re looking for aself-motivated critical thinker whose intellectual curiosity ismet with ahealthy dose ofskepticism towork ondata analysis, experimentation, and modeling projects across multiple business units. The Team The TuneIn Data Science team seeks todeeply understand our users’ listening experience onour service and torecommend and test improvements wemight make tocontent offerings and user experience tocontinuously improve. Weare responsible for understanding, validating, and documenting all ofour data from raw messaging generated byusers all the way through processed and aggregated data used byour senior executives tomake fundamental decisions about our business. What You’ll Do Create reporting solutions (e.g. dashboards) for business leaders and team members, turning data into anactionable and compelling narrative with visualizations (e.g., charts, graphs, tables)— including the design and development ofdata tables tosupport them. Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports toinform our strategy going forward. Design and implement metrics representing the quality, value, and performance ofour business for consumption across the company atall levels. Drill into data anomalies tounderstand and communicate the root cause ofissues, while identifying areas where additional data would resolve ambiguities inour understanding. Synthesize and share how the TuneIn user experience isrepresented inour data infine detail. Analyze product and business success metrics, monitoring and surfacing drivers ofKPIs.Use predictive modeling toincrease and optimize customer experiences and revenue generation. What WeAre Looking For 3+years ofanalytical work experience inconsulting, business intelligence, analytics, oranequivalent analyst position. 3+years experience inSQL; experience with Python aplus. Experience with project management, data visualization tools, and platforms. Experience with data-driven storytelling and data-driven insights. E-commerce, subscription, and advertisement data experience isaplus. Consumer mobile applications experience isaplus. Bachelor’s degree inmath, statistics, engineering, economics, orother similar disciplines. We’ll beaperfect match ifyou are Able towork independently and multitask.
