SKELAR is a venture builder , which builds international product IT companies according to the rules of the venture capital world. Together with our co-founders, we gather strong teams to launch tech businesses and win in global markets.

We are currently looking for a Data Protection Manager who will focus on compliance with the regulatory requirements of Tier-1 geographies (US, EU, UK, etc.) regarding the protection and processing of personal data for our portfolio company TENTENS Tech .

TENTENS Tech is a Ukrainian IT company that develops platforms in the field of streaming and social discovery. The TENTENS Tech team has the experience of successfully launching dozens of platforms that are used by millions of people on all continents of the world (except Antarctica, so far). And the slogan We don't think limits reflects both the company's strategic thinking and the team's motivation to always run far beyond the horizon.

What challenges await:
— ownership of the direction of protection of personal data and confidential information;
— audit of processes and documentation regarding processing of personal data;
—improvement and strategic development of the direction through the prism of compliance with regulatory requirements in different regions of business presence.

We are looking for a candidate who has:
—2+ years of experience working with personal data (legal counsel/compliance officer specializing in personal data or Data Protection Officer);
— a degree in the field of law from a Ukrainian or foreign university;
- a high level of critical thinking, research, analytical and legal writing skills, the ability to present the results of one's research in a structured manner (in the form of a short memo/opinion);
- attention to details, ability to get to the bottom, creativity in approaches to solving problems;
—fluency in legal/business English;
—proactivity and self-motivation.

Our ideal profile:
- availability of certifications for personal data (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, FIP, CDPO, etc.);
- experience with IaaS/PaaS products and digital marketing.

In addition to businesses, we are developing a charitable initiative "SKELAR Foundation" - an internal project from the employees of our venture builder to support the Armed Forces. Within the limits of the initiative, we create and finance large projects that help bring our victory closer.
