Challenges you’ll meet: Tech Leadership and Mentorship: mentor ateam ofskilled data engineers, fostering acollaborative and growth-oriented environment. Data Platform Modernization : Redesign and modernize our existing data platform using the latest tools and technologies toenhance efficiency, accessibility, and scalability. ETL/ELT Excellence : Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes toensure high-quality and consistent data, supporting the integrity ofour analytics and insights. CI/CDExcellence: Build robust pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), streamlining software delivery and enhancing efficiency incollaboration with development teams. Monitoring and Alerting System : Establish acomprehensive monitoring and alerting system, performing health checks, cross-platform validations, and reconciliation processes for aresilient data infrastructure. Cross-Team Collaboration : Collaborate closely with data analysis and product development teams toensure efficient, reliable, and scalable data pipelines that contribute toinformed decision-making. Innovation and Testing : Test new approaches bycreating Proof ofConcepts (PoCs) and conducting benchmarks tocontinuously improve our data platform. What You’ll Need: Proven expertise indesigning and implementing new systems and optimizing legacy solutions. Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Redshift, S3, MWAA, RDS, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, and Redshift Spectrum. Proficiency inPython programming language and Airflow workflow management tool. Deep knowledge ofCI/CD practices and tools, with experience using Gitlab CI. Proficiency indata modelling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Strong understanding ofmonitoring and logging principles, with experience setting upand configuring tools like Grafana and Graylog. Nice tohave experience with: AWS (EMR, EKS, Athena, Glue, EC2) DWH (Snowflake, etc.) PySpark database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL) Inour team wevalue: Sociability. Team update, regular communication with the working group oncurrent projects inwritten (chats) and verbal formats (stand-ups and other meetings). Openness tocommunication.
