As a  Data/Platform Engineer , you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution. Joining the Client’s department, you’ll support various tasks related to the development, analysis, and maintenance of data processes on GCP platforms.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience with Spark (Python or Scala)
• Strong programming and data analytics skills
• Proficiency in GCP data services, especially BigQuery and Dataproc
• Understanding of cost and performance within GCP
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with Airflow for DAGs development
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of SRE and Service Management principles
