Main goal:
Perform all activities related to entering medical data into the database mission data, in accordance with MSF protocols and respecting confidentiality, in order to obtain reliable and up-to-date information.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly enter medical data (eg beneficiary data, visit dates, prescription content, viral load, etc.) into the mission database in accordance with MSF protocols.
- Participate in collecting data both from MSF structures and from health facilities cooperating with the organization.
- Participate in searching for missing data.
- Update existing beneficiary files and make necessary corrections.
- Regularly create backup copies of all processed data.
- Look after all equipment provided and maintain cleanliness and order in the registration area, paying particular attention to all beneficiary files
- Report any data management issues to management.
- Compile statistical reports at the request of the medical team.
- Ensure, promote and maintain the confidentiality of all registered information.
Responsibilities specific to the MSF context:
- Work closely with the Data Supervisor and Data Manager to help implement new systems for the collection and coding of health data
- Ensure protection of beneficiary data in accordance with beneficiary confidentiality principles
- Collect, register and maintain beneficiary files from various medical events
- Maintain digital databases for medical events
- Collaborate with medical teams in a timely manner regarding data discrepancies or clarifications
- Provide data supervisor support by submitting monthly Sitrep reports
- Visit field sites to provide support in appropriate data collection and security
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:High school education. Knowledge of English is an advantage.
