About the project:

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer for the Data & Analytics department to join our team creating state-of-the-art real-time gaming and betting platforms, serving millions of users around the world
The person in this position will be responsible for designing and developing real-time data processing applications.
A project implemented for a large international company from the gaming industry.

We are waiting for you if:

• You have a very good knowledge of Scala
• You are familiar with Distributed Computing technology (e.g. Spark ,  KStreams ,  Kafka Connect ) and Streaming Frameworks (e.g.  Kafka )
• You understand monolithic vs. microservices architecture for applications on a large scale
• You have experience in Amazon Web Services (e.g. S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift)
• You know software versioning tools (e.g. < b> Git )
• You have a higher technical education in IT or a related field (or are in the process of doing so)
• You communicate in English, min. at B2 level

Knowledge of:

• Apache (e.g. Hadoop, HDFS, Yarn, HBase, Hive, Spark, Apache NiFi).
• Containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker , Kubernetes ).
• Time series or analytical databases (e.g. Elasticsearch )
• Monitoring and visualization toolsdataization (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana ).
• Data Warehouse and ETL - knowledge of  Snowflake is preferred
