Data Engineer/Data Analyst* in Nacionalniy bank Ukrayini

Functional tasks:

• Deployment and configuration of the server environment (together with the IT department);
• Administration of databases (creation, access settings, support);
• Development ETL processes. Loading data from various sources (API, Excel/CSV files, third-party services) into the database;
• Optimization and transformation of data for further analytics;
• Automation of data collection and processing processes (Python, SQL);
• Participation in the development of data architecture.

Our expectations from the candidate:

• Experience in the field depending on the level: at least 1 year;
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL or others);
• Knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy, requests; knowledge of ETL/automation libraries is desirable);
• Understanding the principles of APIs and integrations;
• Basic understanding of server administration (Linux/Windows);
• Analytical thinking, attention to details, ability to work with large amounts of data;
• Higher education in economics, finance, mathematics, programming or related fields branches;
• English language skills at B1+ level.

Will be an advantage

• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP);
• Experience with version control tools (Git);
• Practice in data visualization. Skills in working with Power BI (creation of data models, dashboards, DAX-expressions);
• Knowledge of DevOps basics (CI/CD, Docker).
