What you will do Mentoring ateam ofdevelopers toeffectively create, optimise and maintain automated systems and processes across agiven project(s) ortechnical domain. Coordinate engineering resources ensuring adherence tostandards and effective delivery. Contribute tothe continuous improvement ofthe team. Contribute tothe team’s ability tomake and deliver ontheir commitments. Innovate and experiment with technology todeliver real business benefits. Regularly launch products and services based onyour work and beanintegral part ofmaking these asuccess. Guide, influence and challenge the technology team and stakeholders tounderstand the benefits, pros and cons ofvarious technical options. Assist with the recruitment ofthe engineering team. Guide, instruct, motivate and manage assigned staff onprojects. Promote aninnovative thinking process and encourage itinothers. Plan and undertake technical work onprojects. Led the development oftechnical specifications and architecture around Data Lake. Review and refactor code. Deploy code inatrackable and safe manner. Document development and operational procedures. Working within the agile framework. What you need for this 5+years ofprofessional Data experience. 3+years ofexperience with DataBricks and PySpark. Excellent understanding ofSQL and CosmosDB databases. Experience with massive JSON files. Write clean and testable code using SQL and Python scripting languages. Excellent knowledge ofdesigning, constructing, administering, and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes. Knowledge ofAzure Cloud Services. Good understanding T-SQLprogramming. Good exposure toAzure Data Lake technologies such asADF, HDFS and Synapse. Good knowledge ofData Governance, Data Catalog, Master Data Management. Knowledge ofAdvanced Analytics and Model Management including Azure Databricks, Azure ML/MLFlow aswell asdeployment ofmodels using Azure Kubernetes Service. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible. Strong analytical skills, attention todetail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting Good time management skills. Knowledge ofagile methodology. Knowledge ofGitHub. Prioritisation skills tohandle fast passed dynamic environment. Worked inthe media, publishing, research, orasimilar consumer focused industry. (Highly Desirable).
