Introduction

The Data Engineer is responsible for overseeing our data systems and reporting, guaranteeing the integrity of data. The candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which is analyzed for insights. 

This position covers requirement gathering, execution, and design, apart from enhancing analytical and reporting functions, and also supervising performance and quality assurance processes 

Responsibilities:

• Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the upkeep of databases and data systems.
• Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within datasets.
• Cleanse data and scrutinize reports to identify and rectify coding errors.
• Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights.
• Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids 
• Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand business requirements.
• Engage with managers to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.

Technical Skills:

• Foundation in statistics and practical experience in statistical software
• SQL, Develop Rest APIs, Postman, Vertica Database, Oracle Database, MySql, Designing ETL pipelines, Data Lakehouse structure, Kibana/Kibana Query Language

• Designing table structure & error handling for data integration from systems for transactional workflows
