ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is creating digital agents to help European healthcare institutions improve the quality of their services. These agents are engineered to automate routine administrative tasks within hospitals, liberating countless hours for medical staff to dedicate to patient care. We are currently working with numerous hospital groups across Italy and Austria, with plans to broaden the impact throughout Europe.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a deep understanding of process automation, particularly within the healthcare sector (or a highly regulated industry). The ideal candidate will possess extensive Python expertise, a strong background in process orchestration using tools like Airflow or similar, and knowledge of AWS infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with specific experience in automation and system design.
• Strong experience with data management tools such as Airflow or similar.
• Proficient in API testing and integration, with a strong understanding of automation frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, SQL, Docker, and familiarity with server-side applications.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a commitment to excellence in software development practices, including adherence to the PEP 8 Style Guide, modular coding, unit testing, application of design patterns, documentation, and performance optimization.
• Additional knowledge of JavaScript is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and optimize automation solutions using hybrid environments (on-premise, AWS) and hybrid technologies (Python, UiPath).
• Design ascalable system architecture that integrates seamlessly with on-premise legacy systems and cloud-based services, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive data.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure tight coordination between various technologies and operational steps, from patient appointment scheduling to insurance claim processing.
• Implement monitoring solutions to oversee the performance of the automation system, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Ensure the integrity and security of data across hybrid. environments, applying best practices for data protection and compliance.
• Utilize analytics to monitor performance metrics and KPIs, particularly focusing on time saved through automation to determine billing for services provided.
