As a Data Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in fortifying the client's Data & Analytics division, offering ample opportunities to advance your career and deepen your data expertise. Within this environment, growth opportunities naturally emerge.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain data pipelines within the Bank's AWS-based Data Platform.- Automate processes, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and data quality assurance.- Translate designs and requirements into efficient, high-performing, and reusable code.- Apply analytical thinking to identify trends and address complex problems.- Actively contribute to the Solution Design process, offering proactive recommendations.- As part of the team following DevOps principles, ensure the successful development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of solutions.Candidate Profile:- Possess a strong foundation in data technologies, demonstrated through practical experience in relational databases and big data environments (e.g., S3, Python, IAM, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Spark, Redshift, Airflow, etc.).- Experienced in building Datalakes, Data Warehouses, or Datamarts within AWS.- Capable of discerning specific requirements or challenges and applying appropriate data engineering techniques.- Skilled in managing complex data sets, with a focus on data integrity and quality assurance.- Proficient in English communication (both written and verbal).Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with data modeling, particularly for Data Warehouses.- Knowledgeable in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.- Prior experience working within DevOps teams.- Familiarity with the client's current data platform technologies (Oracle RDBMS and Informatica).- Experience and understanding of agile frameworks, preferably SAFe.- Background in financial or banking sectors.
