Data Engineer in Inter Cars S.A.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and develop data structures, data flows and ETL processes to move and transform terabytes of data between applications.
• Implementing Data Governance practices, ensuring that our data is secure, transparent and of high quality.

Our requirements:

• Good knowledge of modern Data Science techniques and tools.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Scala programming.
• At least 2 years of experience working with tools: Spark, Airflow, Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN), NiFi, Sqoop, Hive, HBase, Gitlab.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and working knowledge of SQL.
• Good knowledge of non-relational databases such as HBase, Hive, Casandra, Scylla.
• Basic experience in working with Linux systems, in particular with the command line interface (CLI) and basic knowledge of bash.

Preferred:

• Experience with tools: Kafka, Java.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies in project management, such as Scrum.
