Data Engineer in Novus

The NOVUS company, one of the most successful and promising supermarket chains in Ukraine, invites a Data Engineer to its team

Functional responsibilities:

• Building DWH based on Microsoft Fabric
• Formation and processing of large data sets (reception, preparation and transformation of data)
• Design, development, optimization and support of the data pipeline (data pipelines)
• Control of data exchanges, notification settings
• Participation in the development of the datalake architecture

Skills required for performance of functional duties:

• Experience working as a data engineer with high volumes data
• Experience with Azure, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark programming languages
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power is preferred BI Data Modeling and Reporting (DAX, Power Query, Dashboards Design)
• Experience with databases/data warehouses
• Knowledge of basic data modeling approaches
• Experience preparation of technical documentation
• Analytical systems thinking
