In order to ensure the proper level of control and high efficiency of work, the MEAL Department (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Education) periodically conducts surveys of aid recipients (beneficiaries) from ACTED. Surveys are usually conducted by enumerators (data collectors/interviewers). These surveys can be conducted either before the start of the project, during its implementation, or after its completion.

  • whether the beneficiaries received assistance;
  • how satisfied they are with it;
  • whether the beneficiaries faced any problems while receiving the assistance;
  • what other needs do they have.

< u style="font-weight: 700">Period of work:

The position involves project work. The term of the project is 15/06/2024 — 31/08/2024 with the possibility of extension.


Reward

The data collector will receive UAH 1,280. in one working day (before tax).

Main responsibilities:

Under the direction of the team leader, the data collector must:

- to perfectly master and apply in practice the main humanitarian principles;

- comply with ACTED's internal regulations, safety rules and labor discipline;

- participate in trainings and exercises aimed at improving qualifications skills;

- to thoroughly know and be able to apply research methodology, respondent selection methodology and interview protocol;

- be able to organize meetings at all levels and conduct interviews at data collection points with focus groups and key informants;

- follow the information collection plans developed by the management using appropriate technical devices;
- ensure error-free entry, storage and processing of the entered information in accordance with the instructions;
- to be able to evaluate and conduct an initial analysis of the collected information;
- to coordinate their work with the management, take an active part in discussing plans and work results and any other issues;
- to constantly follow the instructions and instructions of the team leader, the job description of the data collector and the code of conduct.
- prepare reports on the progress of program implementation.
- perform other tasks at the request of the group leader.


Requirements for candidates:

- high level of self-organization and responsibility;
- ability to work with a minimum level of coordination;
- free command of Ukrainian and Russian languages;
- experience using a smartphone based on the Android operating system;
- knowledge of software: Windows, MS Word , Excel, Outlook and Google tools;
- high teamwork skills;
- developed communication skills;
- high level of dedication;
- availability of a personal laptop.

Will be considered preferred:
- work experience in humanitarian organizations;
- work experience with people of different ages and social status;
- experience in conducting research (in particular, sociological);
- experience in conducting individual and group surveys;
- experience in working with KOBO Collect.
