Data collector, interviewer/Enumerator (Emergency livelihoods) in ACTED

The position involves project work under the financing of the Emergency livelihoods project from ACTED

Remuneration:

UAH 1,670.00. per day before taxation

Duration of the contract:

3 months with the possibility of extension depending on the results

Subordination:

Linear and functional: The data collector reports to the specialist of the Emergency livelihoods project

Main duties:

Under the guidance of a specialist of the project, the data collector must:

- Thoroughly master and apply in practice the basic humanitarian principles.

- Comply with the rules of internal procedure, safety rules and labor discipline of ACTED.

- Ensure error-free, fast and high-quality entry of documents into the database, after scanning paper media and compiling a list and description of such documents, storage and processing of entered information in accordance with instructions.

- Ensure error-free verification of documents for availability, quality and compliance with ACTED procedures and Ukrainian legislation.

- Coordinate your work with the senior project specialist and interact with the data processing assistant, take an active part in discussing plans and work results and any other issues.

- Constantly follow instructions and instructions senior project specialist, data collector job description and code of conduct.

- Compile progress reports on program implementation.

- Develop and maintain individual and core beneficiary assessment databases for assigned project activities;

- Support project teams as needed in data cleaning, data processing, data analysis and visualization;

- Provide other support to assigned program team and others teams, if necessary.

Key performance indicators:

• Creation of project database
• Number of data collection/analysis tools developed

 Requirements for candidates:

• Experience with databases (data entry, analysis)
• Experience with documents (verification, archiving, proofreading)
• Experience using office equipment (printing, scanning, storage)
• Software knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, Google tools
• Attention to detail with the ability to spot numerical errors
• Advanced teamwork skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills;
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities change;
• Ability to work independently, willingness to learn;
• Good organizational, communication and personal skills;
• Familiarity with the aid system and understanding of donor and government requirements is an advantage;
• High level of dedication, self-organization and responsibility.
